Fresh Mint Ginger Lemonade
Minty, gingery, oh-so-refreshing lemonade.

- 1/2 cup chopped mint leaves
- 1/3 cup chopped fresh ginger
- 120 g sugar (1/2 cup, 4.2 oz)
- 2 cups boiling water
- 1/3 cup fresh lemon juice
- 2 cups cold water or sparkling water
- ice cubes
- fresh mint leaves and lemon slices for garnish
Combine chopped mint, ginger, and sugar in a medium bowl, add boiling water and allow to steep for 30-40 minutes.
Strain into a large pitcher, pressing on solids to extract liquid.
Pour lemon juice and around 2 cups water or sparkling water depending on taste.
Fill glasses with ice cubes, add lemonade and garnish with mint leaves and fresh lemon slices.
You can also spike this with some vodka.
