Thank you for visiting my blog! My name is Mihaela and I’m cook/baker, writer, photographer and designer behind this blog. I’m physical therapist, wife to the best husband in the world Dalibor and a mum to a baby angel Rafael and my perfect girl Emili. I was born and raised in Croatia’s capital Zagreb, but for the last 10 years I live in a small town in northwestern part of Croatia. I am totally obsessed with food and baking and photography, so when you would ask me which of these is my biggest passion, I wouldn’t know the answer. I love to travel, and since my travel bucket list is pretty long, I put as much money as I can on my “travel savings account”. I love to read (especially romance novels- I’m hopeless romantic 🙂 ), my favorite authors are Vi Keeland, Meghan March, Susan Andersen, Natasha Madison…, favorite city: San Francisco, favorite color: black, favorite fruit: strawberry, favorite food: everything chinese… and favorite people – my baby girl and my husband ♥.
I started to cook when I was 17, I love to try new recipes, so there is slight probability that you’ll find on our table the same dish in between few month, although we have “our favorite meals list” which I cook more often.
Since my recipe book is all torned up, smudged with all kind of food colors, in one word unusable and I wanted some kind of permanent storage for all the recipes I cook, I decided to write this blog. All my recipes are tested at least 2 times, it can happen that dish fails (I had my downs and ups, and I still do).
