This drink is light and refreshing and it is more of a dessert drink. It is called a frappuccino, but this drink does not have any coffee in the mix. Its a combination of strawberries, milk, and vanilla ice cream blended and then topped with whipped cream.
I know this recipe is nothing new, but I came across a “Starbucks Copycat Recipes: Make Your Favorite Restaurant Items at Home” ebook and decided to feature some of the recipes (the products I tried when visiting the USA) for my Croatian followers/readers, mostly because we do not have Starbucks here in Croatia.
Eight years ago, Starbucks announced its arrival in Croatia, but shortly after the market evaluation, they gave up because Croats had a different culture of drinking coffee. Specifically, we do not drink coffee, “as we walk down the street,” but we like to sit in a cafe with a friend or friends, drink coffee and smoke a cigarette (or 10 of them).
